I've been interested in visiting Latvia for a while, it seems like a beautiful country.
It also seems like a good opportunity to complete my flight training.
I am an Australian who holds a CASA PPL, with around 170 hours total time on single engined aircraft (mostly Pipers). I am looking to complete my CPL here in Australia, and will have around 200 hours. Possibly also an instructor's rating (which would take me up to around 250 hours, plus whatever instructing I do).
Is it possible to convert an Australian CASA CPL to a JAA CPL, with a Multi Engine Instrument Rating, and then complete the ATPL subjects?
Roughly what would this cost? And what would be the timeframe for an average student?
Also, what is the cost of living like in Latvia (food, accommodation etc.)?
